Go Jump Off A Cliff
Not for the faint of heart! A reasonably short hike to the end of the world, where thrill seekers jump from the cliff to the ocean. Climb back to the top, hike back to the cab, then enjoy stunning views as you trek down the leeward side to the southernmost place in the USA. Once there, jump again! The drop is over 35 feet to the water's surface below. Climb up the ladder or the rocky shoreline. Scared to jump? The vistas, blow holes, and history make it worth the trip, even if you're not ready to take the plunge.
Waterfalls and Stars
Drive the Hamakua Coast, stopping at waterfalls like Akaka and Rainbow Falls, as well as lesser known streams and rivers. Enjoy a brunch picnic in the calm of a lush tropical setting. Before leaving Hilo, a dinner stop at Ken's Pancake House, then across the saddle road to watch the sunset from Mauna Kea. Star gazing from the visitor's center will top off our relaxing excursion, them back to your room.
Waipio Valley Hike and Beach Picnic
Take a 4WD trip into the amazing Waipio Valley. Your driver drops you at the trailhead, where you hike to the waterfall. Hike back to the car, and ride through the valley to the beach, where a lovely picnic awaits.
From the Top to the End of the World
Start the day watching the sunrise from atop Mauna Kea. A breakfast on the mountain and a walk through the Silver Swords, see the visitor's center and talk with Park Rangers. Then off to Keauhou to the End Of The World, where thrill seekers jumps from the cliff to the churning surf below. The hike is moderate, the view is unbelievable.

Then on to the Pu'uhonua O Honaunau "Place of Refuge".
After the tour I suggest a snorkel in Honaunau, with a snack and drying off timed perfectly to watch the sunset. We'll bring snorkel gear, snacks, towels and folding chairs. You bring your camera.
